Meet
Kizzy Redditt
Kizzy Redditt is a New Orleans–based author, entrepreneur, mentor, and community leader whose work centers on housing, caregiving, recovery, and economic empowerment.
Raised in the Desire Projects, Magnolia, St. Bernard, and the 8th Ward, Kizzy’s early life was shaped by poverty, instability, and addiction. After years of survival mode, she made a life-altering decision to heal—and then build.
Through education, lived experience, and relentless execution, Kizzy founded multiple service-based businesses and community programs, including Harmoney House Group Home, Crisani’s Quarters, Redditt Resource Center, and NOLA Luxury Can Care, alongside transportation and home health service companies.
Her leadership and impact were formally recognized by the City of New Orleans Civil Leadership Academy, honoring her commitment to civic engagement and community development.
Kizzy doesn’t teach theory—she teaches what she’s lived.

My Story
A real story. No filters. No shortcuts.

From the Projects to Purpose is more than a memoir—it’s a blueprint for survival and transformation.
Kizzy documents her journey through addiction, motherhood, recovery, incarceration, and rebuilding from nothing. From standing outside stores asking for help to founding multiple businesses, her story speaks to anyone who has ever felt lost, ashamed, or counted out.
This story exists to remind you: your past does not cancel your future.
